Coping Skills Group

This is a semi-structured group for individuals who have difficulty managing their emotions and experience mood swings.  In this group, members will use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) based skills and techniques  to learn how to identify thoughts, beliefs, and assumptions that significantly impact their emotions. Members will learn to identify their strengths, and will practice skills such as self-soothing, new ways of interacting with and trusting others. Group members will also focus on enhancing self-respect and self-image.
