Yoga for Stress Reduction

CMHS is excited to offer FREE yoga classes to UConn students, faculty, and staff throughout the year.  Yoga classes are held in the CMHS Yoga/Meditation room, Arjona Room 403.  Mats and other yoga equipment provided.

 

Summer Yoga for Stress Reduction: These drop-in yoga classes emphasize mindful awareness and self-compassion. Each class includes a brief overview of yogic philosophy/techniques, a centering and/or body scan, yogic breathing, postures, and final relaxation.  All skill levels welcome, no prior yoga experience needed.  Equipment provided, just come dressed comfortably!

Classes will be limited capped at 30 participants, on a first come basis.

  • Classes will run from 5/29/18 – 8/1/18 (no classes the week of July 4th)
  • Tuesdays 11:30-12:30 (focus on form)
  • Wednesdays 11:30-12:30 (Vinyasa flow)
